TIGER STADIUM -- Logic can be simple.
The most dominant player on the No. 1 team in the country deserves Heisman recognition.
Tyrann Mathieu has been the most dominant player for LSU this season. LSU is the No. 1 team in the country. Thus, he deserves Heisman recognition.
"You can't deny he is one of the best players in college football," said LSU linebacker Ryan Baker.

Risher was an All-SEC quarterback in 1982 an was a three-time offensive MVP for LSU. Risher held 23 offensive records at LSU when he finished his career in 1982.

LSU Students will have a "Pink Out" versus the Kentucky Wildcats on Oct. 1st in Tiger Stadium.
Students will wear all pink to raise breast cancer awareness for former LSU linebacker Bradie James' organization "Foundation 56." The "Pink Out" movement was started by LSU Student Government.
Student Government Executive Director of Athletics Chas Kelly says anything to do help a good cause has been one of his goals since taking the position.
"We've all had a friend or family member affected by breast cancer, including me" said an emotional Kelly. "We (Student Government) will strive to do anything to help 'Foundation 56,' an organization that has helped saved many lives."
Kelly said he, Student Body President Cody Wells and a few other members of Student Government will meet with Sr. Associate Athletic Director Herb Vincent later this week about promoting this event.
Kelly emphasizes this movement isn't just for students.
"It doesn't matter who you are, you can participate. Wear pink. We must raise awareness to help find a cure to this deadly cancer," said Kelly.
The Tigers will clash with the Wildcats in their next home game in Tiger Stadium. For more information, contact Kelly and LSU Student Government by visiting their website.
