Auburn Wins First BCS Title, But Was Dyer Down?

Carter "The Power" Bryant Monday, January 10, 2011 , , , , , , ,
Auburn finally earned their first crystal ball after an undefeated season.

The Tigers defeated the Oregon Ducks 22-19 in one of the best National Championship games in the sport's history Monday night.

But did the heavily criticized Big Ten officiating crew make a mistake on the game's most controversial play?

Freshman running back Michael Dyer, as I predicted before the game (shameless promotion), played the game of his life. His long runs on the game's final drive proved to be the difference for the Tigers. But was he down on his 37 yard scamper deep into Oregon territory?

MockSession.com investigated the run with this in-depth video....

What do you guys think? Was he down? Was Arkansas tight end D.J. Williams down?

HKT would love to hear your thoughts. Not like there isn't enough drama going on in the SEC or anything.

The way I see it: Arkansas got screwed, Dyer was not down.
