First AP Poll Released, LSU at No. 21

The first of many AP polls were released today. The LSU Tigers were tallied up as the No. 21 team in the nation.

Defending champion Alabama stays atop the poll, with Ohio State and Boise State rounding out the top three teams in the country.

Six SEC teams made the list while eight teams received votes.

the tigers may be low on the end of this totem pole as of now, but i believe they'll be making a comeback this season. many of the higher ranked teams will most likely be brought down by mid-season if not sooner. i have a strong feeling that LSU sports will be bringing home a lot of championships this year. (these instinctive feelings have never been wrong). geaux tigers!
